Hi, I’m Raychel Shaw — author, storyteller, small‑batch roaster, and unabashed enthusiast of all things cozy (coffee, tea, tortoises, squirrels… you name it).

Writer’s Roast began inside my daydreams — juggling picture-book manuscripts with hazelnut coffee in a mug I had reheated way too many times. It was born from my multifaceted life: a Mama Bear, wife, protector, tortoise fan, squirrel whisperer, and caffeine devotee all rolled into one — with a story tucked into every blend.

What started as a spark of whimsy has bloomed into a full line of small‑batch coffee and tea blends, each roasted or blended to order for peak freshness — never just sitting on the shelf.
