Hi, I’m Raychel Shaw—author, storyteller, and enthusiastic drinker of coffee and tea.

Writer’s Roast began as a daydream somewhere between writing picture book manuscripts and sipping hazelnut coffee out of a mug I probably reheated three times. I wanted to create something that combined my love for storytelling with my love for sipping something warm while dreaming up new characters.

What started as a fun idea has turned into something much more—a line of small-batch coffee and tea blends made especially for writers, readers, and wild daydreamers.

Every blend has a story.

• 🐿️ Squirrel Fuel is for the creatively chaotic and easily distracted—it’s nutty, smooth, and ready to chase inspiration.

• 🐢 Frankie’s Brew was inspired by my real-life sulcata tortoise and upcoming children’s book character. It's a gentle chamomile tea perfect for winding down and reading bedtime stories.

As an author, I know how powerful stories can be. As a coffee-and-tea lover, I know how comforting it is to hold a warm mug while reading (or writing) one. So I built Writer’s Roast to bring those two passions together in one place.
